    Music Disc used to be found in loot boxes rarely, but lately loot boxes themselves have become scarce, so it’ll hard to find them. There are Christmas music discs that can be found in presents bought from Santa during the yearly month-long Christmas event though.

    It’s a real annoyance as well. Whenever i try to take a screenshot or try to look at my base or just building it, I have big bold white letters everywhere.

    Actually Fossilized eggs are one of the most rare trophy item in the game because they spawn randomly and very very far from each other, you can search for hours and never find one.

    Yeah, boat immunity is something that has existed forever and exists in the base game as well. It is a bug and was never intended. You can fix it if you want, but many people accept it as it doesn’t really affect much of the game-play, and I think many people might be a little disappointed to see it go.

    I think they should keep the ‘Cap’ in their name so that it doesn’t create another inconsistency. Maybe Chillcaps, Frostcaps, Icecaps, or something like that.

    There is no actual natural mithril ore yet, you can however find it in loot chests like shipwrecks and ancient chest.

    Yeah this has always happened, happens in non-mesecraft games as well. We had someone working on it, but it appears that they haven’t done much to it so far.

    This is a known issue on the servers if you are near lava or fire. Mesecraft itself is extremely laggy, no matter how good your pc or other device you are playing with. We are trying to add more performance enhancing mods and changes.

    No! Do not start a new map please. Markets are really only used by a few people, mostly Keihdra, so restarting the map just to fulfill their expectations is not a good way to go. If you really want markets, Unreal can place them down for you manually.

    If you haven’t noticed also, we’ve actually been trying to find a way to get rid of markets as they are a little OP and not a key asset to the game.

    So please, do not restart the server, again.

    You should make it so it only works if you shift, that way someone can still place floating blocks on slabs and such.

    I a log of everyone who had been to a geocache and when and it was displayed at the hub for it as only the author can edit a book. However it doesn’t matter anymore as the geocache game was really for the early days of server when there wasn’t much looters.

    Having to hunt for traders to actually craft things is bad game design. Ancient Stones can be found in the nether and are common enough that you don’t need to trade for them anyways.

    Things with bragging rights I always see as stupid, as everyone should be able to find things easily, even if they have too search for awhile. So, while I still believe in treasure items (Items that have no use but can be displayed), having them to be “Bragging right” items is not the right way to go.

    I think if you were to add new biomes, there’ll need to only be a small amount to not overwhelm the player, but also look pretty vanilla at the same time, unlike Ethreal, which has too many and they are waaaay too unique and don’t go with the default biomes.

    Another thing I’d like to add is that this is Spawn, meaning it’s for the new players. While we can make shops and small bases here, we need to remember that the land is set aside for the new players so we should really just let them do with it how they want.

    One thing that Odie and I agreed upon before he left is that we won’t have a city wall around the next spawn. The reason why is because that wall will soon fill up with protection blocks and will Ale Post all over again. We have no idea how large the city will grow so having a wall is not a good idea until you can really be sure how large the city will be. One thing that you can do is use bushes to create kind of like a hedge around spawn, then you light up spawn to the point where all monsters spawn outside the hedges.

    The harbor however is a good idea, it’s always a good thing for new players to explore and a harbor will encourage that. Durin’s Abyss however is not something which can be deemed a public property unless Durin gives their okay.

    Restoration of Ale Post As you may know, Ale Post has basically been our spawn since back in Feburary 2022 when the map got restarted because of drastic changes to the world generation. However after the “incident,” Ale Post was abandoned by practically all players besides about five, who decided that, since New Spawn is much farther from them, they can live in peace for the time being.

    But even though Ale is abandoned, I do think we should put together a small restoration project for Ale Post as a tribute to it. Doing this however would mean that we will need a little bit of involvement from Komodmo, as most of Ale is protected by him and inactive players.

    I think after the restoration, all people who were involved can help with building a memorial monument in memory of Ale.

    Things that will be hopefully restored:
    1. Wall Reconstruction
    2. Sand back into Grass
    3. Roof Reconstruction
    4. Replanting of trees in and out of Ale
    5. Deconstruction of Ho to Ale railway (Kip)
    6. Reconstruction of Ho to Ale path
    7. Garden Reconstruction
    8. Removal of banned players’ protection blocks: maggot_begger?, donyboy, Antrica1, StoneAge. (Komodo?)
    9. Building of Ho Embassy (Kip)

    All of these things can be chosen to be completed by any player, in THRIVE or not, as this is a community effort.

    If this goes well, or even happens, we may have more of these to fix things like Ho’s deforestation and water problems, and Falldale.

    Thank you to Giorge and Fedon who have already worked on restoring the outside of Ale Post, which was always extremely destroyed.

    Here is the thing: Adding fossils means people will want dinosaurs, however being able to bring dinosaurs back to life means adding even more technology to the game, something most people don’t want, as they like how Mesecraft kinda has a fantasy feel to it, adding more modern equipment will take away from that. However something that’s already established is magic, maybe you can bring dinosaurs back to life with some magic staff, maybe the Druid’s staff, as many people see that staff as being really useless, and it also already has the ability to bring dead grass to life again, so that means it must also have the ability to bring other things back to life as well.

    Another idea if you want dinosaurs or other unique creatures is that we have a really deep underground cave biome. This cave biome, called the Primordial Jungle, is one of the most breathtaking biomes in the whole game. One thing about this biome is that, since it’s an underground jungle, it has lots of unique light sources, glowing fruits, and some other cool glowing and non-glowing flora. However, this biome only seems to have one natural spawning animal in it and that is the giant cave spider, which is found everywhere else underground, but seems to spawn here more frequently. But I think adding things like small or medium sized dinosaurs to this biome would be super cool, as it would bring more life to it and give you even more reason to want to get down here. I do think that there should only be 3-5 dinosaurs, as any over that would be too much.

    But what if you want water dinos? Well there is another deep cave biome that’s a little bit higher than the Primordial that is the perfect place for this. That is the Sunless Sea. At the moment the sunless sea is kinda empty and most people come down here for the crystals and easy diamonds which can be found in the intertwining rivers which connect to the massive underground oceans. But the oceans themselves really need life besides snare-weed, some types of coral, and cave crocs. This is where water dinos and other unique water creatures can go.

    And that is why I think things like collecting DnA for dinos would just be a bad idea as not only is it a complicated one and one that many people would not be able to figure out, there are many deep cave biomes that need life that these dinos can bring. I do think fossils could work, as they would be a cool tease, but bringing them back to life with their DnA and machinery would just be a waste of cool content.

    There are animals like cats, horses, and dogs, even Villagers that you can tame, or as I like to say “Hire” with cooked meat to protect you. As for dragons though, Mesecraft is still in development and there are lots of things that need to be done, as there really are only two guys who work on Mesecraft. SO while dragons would be cool, they are still being considered as they are a very destructive mob and we already have problems such as massive accidental Boomer “Those tnt guys) explosions that set of devastating forest fires, so if a small mob like a Boomer can do things like that, imagine what a dragon of great size can do.

    However if you really want things like dragons, there is a server called “Centeria Survival Deluxe.” While it is not the official server, it’s kinda a testing ground for what COULD be added to Mesecraft in the future.

    I agree with this 100% as I never had in trouble getting started or learning how to play mesecraft when I first joined 4 years ago, I was extremely new to minetest itself as well. However the difficulty most of the people on this thread are talking is about the servers as, since it’s a server, mob spawns are increased, loot and help chests disappear within hours, and the forests are usually completely chopped down. However, outside of the servers, I do agree it’s a little too easy.

    Again, dragons and wyverns only exist in Centeria. They are not in Mesecraft.

    A good way to ensure that nobody can grief the spawn but also make sure that they won’t be bombarded with mobs the second they spawn is to put it underground. All you have to do is decorate it, light up really well, then protect every bit of it. Then you can set up an elevator.

    There are actually a couple missing crops: Oranges, Bananas , and strawberries. The reason you can’t find them is because they are part of the ethereal mod, which is not in the game anymore. The Farming Redo mod which we use adds these as well but you can’t find them in game yet. Peppers can be found in game, as I actually have found some before. They are found in the jungle and you’ll come across one soon after exploring the jungle for awhile.

    Mesecraft actually already has a Christmas event: Zombie Elfs, Evil Snowman, Gingerbread man, and so on. There is also Santa traders that you can buy presents and get Christmas items.

    No one is really sure if it spawns or not really. It’s just that nobody has found some naturally generated mitherel ore since 2019.

    Mesecraft as server has actually restarted many times, so there have been many maps that have been played through the years, so yes there has been many people to get down to the underworld and breach it’s surface. Back in the early versions of Mesecraft, the caves spawned way deeper than they are now.

    Also, at the moment, Mithrel does not naturally spawn as ore in the world because the Mesecraft gods have other plans, however you can obtain it in loot chests in boats and underground.

    On this Map I have only dug down to the Underworld, and am slowly working on mining down, mostly because I’m focused on building my estate. But in a previous map, a friend and I got down to the Nether.

    (Also yes, someone has solved the puzzle chests and seals before, and as for the Ore Men? Those are so rare most players don’t even know they exist.)

    This also happened to me wen I was exploring a cave, except I was nowhere near cobble. I was ale to get out of it by backing away from the cursed cave everytime I came back on and then crashed. I think it has something to do with a certain point in the underground.

    Pumpkins have crazy spawn rates and you can easily find them however Boomers are pretty sparse.

    So apparently  the reason Dony is mad and crashing the server is because Keihdra “stole” his gold. While I don’t believe his story completely, I’m giving him 1 gold in exchange for him to stop crashing the server and so that he doesn’t get banned. However if he doesn’t keep his side of the bargain then please ban him for us Unreal.

    Griefing can not be a reason for banning, however not stop spamming is, so you can ask Unreal.

    If we get rid of fire spread in protected areas then there is no need to get rid of explosive mobs. Plus, if we get rid of explosive mobs, I may leave because then Mesecraft will just be boring. Also, Boomers are the most iconic mobs in Mesecraft and it would be very dull without them. However if you are talking about Pumpkin Bombs from the Halloween Event, I absolutely hate those. However, they are a good source of free candles. So, maybe just lowering their spawn rate will balance it out.

    Yes! All you really have to do is make it so fire does not spread or destroy in protected areas, no matter where the fire comes from.

    I think if any new structures were to be added into the game, they should blend in with the surroundings, like they are supposed to be there and have been there for some time. This means that they can’t be too exceptional, but they can still be pretty great builds. Also I do think the idea of an award system could have potential. For example, a building can be built in the main spawn area acting as the showcase, there can be awards such as: Most amount of days survived, Biggest building, most creative building, most impressive farm, most wealthy, and so on.

    Yep! Absolutely! Another thing to keep in mind is that Mesecraft’s main goal is to give players a unique survival experience, not for people to build cool stuff.

    Calling people “Master Players” Is kinda a stretch, as we have many people with unique abilities, and holding one over the other can make people a little jealous. Also there has never been an assistant admin ever in the server’s history, and there most likely never will be as we really don’t need one. Also naming a reward for being a “master” builder the “Mineman Reward” is kinda wrong. While Mineman is an exceptional builder and I have seen many of his builds, on Mesecraft and other servers, there are many people who have remarkable building skills as well such as Amicus, MisterE, Sundance, Giorge, Brown Bear, Keihdra, and many other people. I just think that singling one person out as the best builder on Mesecraft and naming a reward after them without their consent just isn’t what should be in Mesecraft.

    *Edit* There are also many people who don’t show their skill in building all the time, like myself and many others, mostly because of this reason, they don’t want people gushing over their work like it’s the best thing ever built.

    Finding all the guides to every single village is going to be tough, as there are more than 300+ villages in a single world, not to mention igloos, ruins, coral colonies, and jungle settlements.

    Yeah, the Halloween event is really fun, and you don’t need any wooden stakes to kill a vampire :D. There are a bunch more monsters as well, such as some unlucky trick or treaters who got zombified, there is also a small monster that can shoot candy at you. The night sky also fills with ghosts, but they won’t attack you and you can’t attack them. (However they can drown somehow and you get free candy.)

    Yeah, it has nothing to do with Carz’s armor bug and in fact has nothing to do with the server either as the mod the chair comes from is at fault. This bug has lasted for years and probably won’t be fixed for some time.

    There is actually another problem with chests underground. If you find mineshaft there is a chance you can find a chest in it. However, the chest is always empty.

    Also, Loot chests like baskets, rune urns, ancient chests, they just don’t seem to spawn now anymore, as they used to spawn at very balanced rate, but now it’s impossible to find them.

    We a player like that a couple years ago who would come on and spam chat with garbage, it had gotten to the point where Unreal chat banned his account but he just made another and continued, he chat banned again and made another account which finally made Unreal ban him.
